We came to Chan Nara (formerly Red Bar Sushi & Thai) for the first time this weekend. I have to say it is some of the best Thai food I have had! Everything was fresh flavorful, and delicious. The service was great and professional. It will definitely be on my list for my next trip out this way.
The wife and I have been coming here for many years back when they were "Red Bar Sushi Best Thai Kitchen". Funny enough they are across the street from a much bigger Thai restaurant but truthfully we feel this place's food is far superior and they also make incredible sushi which is a huge plus. Recently they underwent a change with a new name "Chan Nara" and with it some very welcomed changes with things being plated differently and a seemingly improved emphasis on the customer experience. However, the main reason we chose to write this review is due to the server Danny, who we feel has been a revolution for this place. He's been there for a little while now even before the name change, and due to his service we have found ourselves coming back even more than before. We often come on busy weekend nights and Danny has taken it upon himself to know us on a first name basis and it seems many people get this treatment as he seems to have an ability to remember everyone's names and their previous orders and the way they like their food. Even during what seems like their busiest times, he is always smiling with upbeat energy and treats people like he's known them his whole life. A great combination of casual and professional demeanor and we do genuinely enjoy when he is our server as he has always made us feel welcome and always goes the extra mile to get to know us better and simply converse with us and finds ways to improve our experience any chance he can. Overall, a great experience and if you find yourself looking for great food in a humble atmosphere, we highly recommend giving them a shot!
I LOVE that the head chef from the previous business (Red Bar/Best Thai Kitchen) bought the business and created this fabulous & improved restaurant! It’s now chef driven and the food seems better than ever! The Thai Tea size is more inline with the price, ete. etc. Wonderful!
